Question submitted on 10/12/07

When was it invented? what are the earliest uses? and list and explain each step? Not asking you to do this for me. Just do you know of a website where I can find this information?

Check out the following web sites for general information on biodiesel and the transesterification process:

DOE's Alternative Fuels Data Center -- Biodiesel
http://www.eere.energy.gov/afdc/altfuel/biodiesel.html

Biodiesel America.org -- What is Biodiesel
http://biodieselamerica.org/what_is_biodiesel

Wikipedia has an overview of the transesterification process at href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transesterification.
