Profile:

  • The Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC) is an industry working group inspired by cradle to cradle principles and dedicated to transforming packaging into a system that encourages economic prosperity and a sustainable flow of materials. The Sustainable Packaging Coalition is a project of GreenBlue, a not-for-profit, 501(C)(3) tax exempt organization. GreenBlue provides technical, administrative and mission support to the Coalition. The SPC is directed by a nine member Executive Committee that works with GreenBlue.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
