  • The Illinois Association of Groundwater Professionals is dedicated to the protection and effective use of groundwater in Illinois. Originally formed in 1928 as the Illinois Well Drillers Association, this organization later shortened its name to the Illinois Water Well Association.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
