  • The Wisconsin Be SMART Coalition is an award-winning environmental organization that was founded in 1995. The group combines the expertise and resources of more than 45 local governments, state agencies, non-profit organizations, businesses, schools and environmental organizations. Its mission is to provide leadership and promote actions that reduce waste, conserve resources, prevent pollution, and foster sustainability through community partnerships and educational programs.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
