  • PANNA (Pesticide Action Network North America) works to replace pesticide use with ecologically sound and socially just alternatives. PANNA utilizes campaigning, science, information and communications strategies toward banning, eliminating and phasing out the use of toxic pesticides and promoting a fair transition to alternatives. As one of five Pesticide Action Network (PAN) Regional Centers worldwide, PANNA links local and international consumer, labor, health, environment and agriculture groups into an international citizens' action network. This network challenges the global proliferation of pesticides, defends basic rights to health and environmental quality, and works to insure the transition to a just and viable society. Other PAN Regional Centers include PAN Africa, PAN Asia/Pacific, PAN Europe and PAN Latin America. See the PAN International Web site. PANNA works closely with and is a founding member of Californians for Pesticide Reform.
