Profile:

  • Many things that we all encounter in our daily lives can pose a threat to our limited land resources, and, in turn, to human life and health. Among others, the following Region 5 programs and initiatives actively address the many environmental threats to our land: state and tribal partnerships; innovative projects; hazardous waste; solid waste; pollution prevention; and underground storage and leaking underground tanks.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
