Profile:

  • Since 1970, the Department of Natural Resources has conducted a comprehensive program to enhance, manage and protect Wisconsin's air quality. The DNR Bureau of Air Management administers this statewide program through offices in Madison and the five DNR Regions around the state. The Bureau is part of the Division of Air & Waste. The Air Management Program's goal is to maintain Wisconsin's outdoor air quality so that it adequately protects public health and welfare and prevents harm to the environment and private property.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
