  • We envision a future in which the IDNR shares responsibility for stewardship of the state’s natural and cultural resources with Illinois citizens, local governments, private organizations and businesses. In this future, the state’s citizens understand and appreciate the necessity of protecting and sustaining our resources, live in harmony with them, consider the implications of everyday decisions on them, and work toward a common goal of conserving them for the enjoyment of present and future generations.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
