  • Enviro$en$e is a free, public environmental information exchange system that provides the user with pollution prevention (P2) solutions, compliance and enforcement assistance information, and innovative technological insights. The website strives to be the cutting edge of P2 knowledge by building on the work of a wide array of resources and allowing users to draw upon the experience of federal, state, and local agencies, manufacturers, suppliers, researchers and others. The network’s primary goal is to provide a “one-stop-shopping” service for those who seek P2 information. The system emphasizes material that can help small businesses in meeting and exceeding environmental requirements by providing information on:
    • Contacts, training opportunities, and news
    • Federal regulations, executive orders, and law
    • Pollution prevention technical information, databases, initiatives
    • Federal agency and facility information
    • Technology information, databases, and initiatives
    • Funding, grants, and contracts information
    • International resources
    Enviro$en$se allows on-line access to EPA databases, including the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) and a Pollution Prevention References databases. Enviro$en$se permits key word searching of full text or abstracts.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
