  • Alternative Fuel Programs administered by the IEPA include:

    Clean Fuel Fleet Program - affects motor vehicle fleets with ten or more vehicles in the Chicago area.

    Alternative Fuel Rebate Program - anyone in the state of Illinois that purchases or converts a vehicle to operate with an alternative fuel is eligible to receive a rebate for up to $4,000 per vehicle.

    Alternative Fuel Education/Presentations - a variety of presentations are offered on government programs, incentives, policies, and how to convert a fleet to alternative fuels.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
