  • The Business Material Exchange of Wisconsin (BMEX) is a Material Listing Service designed as a clearinghouse to match manufacturers and other businesses that need materials with companies that have reusable, surplus or by-product materials available. BMEX was established to assist manufacturers and other businesses to improve their economic and environmental performance through material use and recycling.

    The Beloit Material Exchange is a community-based material exchange for the Greater Beloit, Wisconsin area that was launched in mid-2004.

    BMEx is really two programs. Both programs aim to reduce waste, extend the life of usable materials and improve economic performance and quality of life for participants.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
