Profile:

  • BYNC offers programs and services to Chicago's Southwest Side that improve the quality of life for area residents, including after-school tutoring, arts and crafts, and Mexican folkloric dance for students; a free shuttle bus service and home repair program for senior citizens; and an employment placement service, ESL, and GED classes for all area residents. The BYNC also serves those in need through advocacy, a food pantry, and an emergency fund.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
