  • For over 25 years, the North Business & Industrial Council (NORBIC) has been building stronger Illinois businesses. A not-for-profit organization with a membership of more than 275 Chicago-based businesses, NORBIC works to assist in the retention, expansion and development of successful business and industry in the greater Chicago area. NORBIC is uniquely able to respond to a broad-range of client needs with a complete service package due to the co-location in-house of seven distinct centers and a technology transfer program. Better still, most services are offered free of charge to Illinois businesses.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
