Profile:

  • The Great Lakes Environmental Finance Center (GLEFC) is a partnership between the U.S. EPA and the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University. Its mission is to help communities and the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin build innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality strategies for environmental improvement and sustainable economic development. GLEFC is a technical assistance, training, and research resource for state and local government, private sector, and non-profit organizations. GLEFC helps solve financial problems related to environmental facilities and resources.

GLRPPR is a member of the Pollution Prevention Resource Exchange, a national network of regional information centers: NEWMOA (Northeast), WRRC (Southeast), GLRPPR (Great Lakes), ZeroWasteNet (Southwest), P2RIC (Plains), Peaks to Prairies (Mountain), WSPPN (Pacific Southwest), PPRC (Northwest).
