Federal Electronics Challenge

Abstract:
The Federal Electronics Challenge (FEC) is a purchasing and end-of-life management challenge issued for federal facilities or agencies to purchase greener electronic products, manage their electronic assets in an environmentally sound manner, receive assistance to change their current practices and gain national recognition for their efforts. The program is being piloted beginning in May 2003 and will be rolled out as a national program in May 2004.
