EPA/Daimler Chryler/UPS Fuel Cell Delivery Vehicle Initiative

In May 2003, EPA Administrator Christine Todd Whitman, joined by senior executives from DaimlerChrysler and UPS, announced a unique collaboration to put several zero-emission package delivery vehicles powered by hydrogen fuel cells into commercial service in Michigan. The Initiative will provide an opportunity to test state-of-the-art fuel cell vehicle technologies in real world operation.
