Ovsey of the University of Illinois--Chicago, this Illinois Waste Management and Research Center (WMRC) research report characterizes the properties of the dental waste stream. The other major objective of this research project was to assess the relative effectiveness of removal procedures for mercury and silver in the dental waste water stream.
