Abstract:
January is National Radon Action Month (NRAM) in the United States. This U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) web site describes the risks associated with radon exposure and includes answers to frequently asked questions as well as myths and facts about radon. Other links on the site allow you to view Emmy Award-winning Public Service Announcements (PSAs) related to NRAM and information on the NRAM poster contest. The site also includes a listing of radon events and activities from across the county, and a radon action month event planning kit (available for download in PDF format).
