GLRPPR Sector Resource: Indiana 5-Star Environmental Recognition for Drycleaners

Title:
Indiana 5-Star Environmental Recognition for Drycleaners

Abstract:
The Indiana 5-Star Environmental Recognition Program for Drycleaners is a voluntary program that ranks participating drycleaners on a scale of one to five stars. The program recognizes those drycleaners willing to do more for the environment and worker safety than the rules require. These drycleaners are going above and beyond the rules to protect the environment, their employees and their neighbors and customers. This website describes the program, provides a list of participating drycleaners, and includes an application in PDF format. Also provided is a link to more information on garment care and the environment from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM).
