GLRPPR Sector Resource: Evaluation of Ultrafiltration to Recover Aqueous Iron Phosphating/Degreasing Bath

Title:
Evaluation of Ultrafiltration to Recover Aqueous Iron Phosphating/Degreasing Bath

Abstract:
Pollution prevention efforts targeted the hazardous waste generated from a 5000-gallon iron phosphating/degreasing bath used by a metal fabricator to clean and precondition steel parts for painting. This report describes the results of laboratory and field testing of an ultrafiltration system to recover and reuse this bath. Written by Timothy C. Lindsey, Alisa G. Ocker, Gary D.
