GLRPPR Sector Resource: ENERGY STAR for Grocery/Convenience Stores

Title:
ENERGY STAR for Grocery/Convenience Stores

Abstract:
The food-sales industry is set apart from other types of businesses by its high dependence on refrigeration. In light of this, ENERGY STAR has dedicated this web site to tips on improving the energy efficiency of commercial refrigeration systems. This site also includes case studies illustrating how some grocery stores, convenience stores, and restaurants have saved energy on their refrigeration systems.
