Title:
Minnesota: Nitrogen Oxide Emission Reductions at Electric Utilities

Abstract:
In response to tighter restrictions on sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions in Title IV of the Clean Air Act Amendments, several Minnesota electric power generators have made great strides in pollution prevention. As a result of pollution prevention projects, air quality has been improved, and acid rain-causing emissions have been reduced. (PDF format; Length: 2 pages)
