Phillips Distilling Company, Princeton, MN

Abstract:
Summary of a 2017 MnTAP intern project at Phillips Distilling in Princeton, MN. Phillips produces a large variety of popular, high-quality alcoholic beverages. Some of their most popular brands are UV, Phillips, and organic Prairie vodka. Their headquarters is in Princeton, MN is where alcohol is distilled, flavored, blended, bottled, and packaged for shipping. The plant employs over 275 people and ships 7 million cases annually. This project focused on methods to improve the plant's compressed air efficiency, as well as reduce and reuse their water throughput.
