GLRPPR Sector Resource: Metal Products & Machinery (MP&M) Proposed Pretreatment Standards

Title:
Metal Products & Machinery (MP&M) Proposed Pretreatment Standards

Abstract:
The Metal Products and Machinery (MP&M) regulation establishes national technology-based limits on pollutants in wastewater discharges from facilities that manufacture, rebuild or maintain metal parts, products, or machines. On February 14, 2003, U.S. EPA's Administrator signed a final rule to establish wastewater controls for the MP&M industrial category. The MP&M regulation applies to about 2,400 facilities that generate oily wastewater.
