Abstract:
Auto body shops that spray or otherwise apply coatings on motor vehicles are likely subject to the requirements found in the NESHAP for Paint Stripping and Miscellaneous Surface Coating Operations at Area Sources (Rule). This tutorial provides an overview of this new regulation and includes discussion about who is subject, what the requirements are, and when you must comply. Contact information and resources are also provided.
