GLRPPR Sector Resource: SAVE FOOD: Global Initiative on Food Loss and Waste Reduction

Title:
SAVE FOOD: Global Initiative on Food Loss and Waste Reduction

Abstract:
This program is a collaboration between the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations and Messe Düsseldorf. From the web site:

The SAVE FOOD initiative aims at encouraging dialogue between industry, research, politics, and civil society on food losses. For this purpose, the initiative will regularly bring together stakeholders involved in the food supply chain for conferences and projects and will support them in developing effective measures. Another goal will be to raise public awareness of the impact of food waste.

Resources include infographics, case studies, presentations, reports, and working papers.
