GLRPPR Sector Resource: Benefits of Green Infrastructure

Title:
Benefits of Green Infrastructure

Abstract:
A well-designed green infrastructure landscape can have many cost-saving and environmental benefits, including the reduction of stormwater flow into sewer systems during heavy rains. Excessive stormwater flows into city sewer systems can cause water pollution. This case study describes how U.S. EPA worked with the City of Cincinnati to help them reduce the amount of stormwater flowing into the city's sewers.
