Abstract:
In December 2013, U.S. EPA Region 5 hosted a one-day hazardous substance reduction training workshop for the region's pollution prevention technical assistance providers. This training included four modules: Module 1: Pollution Prevention and Hazardous Substance Reduction Fundamentals; Module 2: Design for the Environment Tools and External Resources for Identifying Safer Chemical Substitutions; Module 3: Proven Approaches to Performing Hazardous Substances P2 Assessments; Module 4: Identify and Target Facilities to Perform Hazardous Substances P2 Assessments.
