Title:
The Environment: Public Attitudes and Individual Behavior: A Twenty-Year Evolution

Abstract:
This research was commissioned by SC Johnson and executed within the GfK Roper Consulting Green Gauge US survey. The survey was fielded online among 2,000 adults age 18+ in the contiguous United States between June 9 and July 5, 2011. The GfK Roper Consulting Green Gauge studies have been tracking consumer environmental attitudes and behaviors in the United States since 1992, inspired in large part by the original SC Johnson research conducted in 1990. Green Gauge explores issues related to consumers' interaction with the environment. This includes environmental concerns, specific environmental behaviors, sources of information on the environment, and views of specific industries.
