Indiana: Waterborne Coatings Replace Solvent-based Coatings P2 Case Study

Abstract:
The Indiana Clean Manufacturing Technology and Safe Materials Institute (CMTI) and its Coating Applications Research Laboratory (CARL), which are located at Purdue University, initiated a project with a central Indiana company to evaluate new types of waterborne coatings as potential replacements for solvent-based coatings. The goal: to assist the company to reduce its emissions and its regulatory liability as well as increase its cost savings.
