GLRPPR Sector Resource: Concise Self-Assessment Guide to Environmentally Sustainable Commerce

Title:
Concise Self-Assessment Guide to Environmentally Sustainable Commerce

Abstract:
The Grand Rapids-based West Michigan Environmental Action Council designed this tool to help companies develop strategies to increase product and service efficiency, while reducing energy use and environmental impacts. The assessment tool is divided into eight areas that affect a company's eco-performance: environmental management systems, product/service design, facilities, purchasing, operations, packaging, delivery/installation, and marketing/sales. Each area has a set of questions; responses are easily selected by circling a number.
