Written by Roland J. Liebert, this report provides and assessment of the first household hazardous materials collection event and publicity campaign held in Illinois. The collection event took place September 13, 1987 in Champaign County. The report describes survey results on the state of public awareness, use, and disposal of hazardous materials prior to and immediately after the publicity campaign in Champaign County.
