GLRPPR Sector Resource: Call2Recycle

Title:
Call2Recycle

Abstract:
Call2Recycle helps promote environmentally responsible communities, businesses, and retailers through its free battery and cell phone recycling program. These groups collect used rechargeable batteries and old cell phones, and ship them to Call2Recycle's recycling facility. We reclaim reuseable materials: nickel, iron, cadmium, lead, and cobalt from the batteries. A portion of the proceeds from resale of refurbished phones benefits select charities.
