GLRPPR Sector Resource: Plant-Based Chemicals (Biochemicals)

Title:
Plant-Based Chemicals (Biochemicals)

Abstract:
Biochemicals can be easily and cost effectively substituted for the often hazardous petrochemical-based alternatives currently on the market. In doing so, companies and consumers can save money, improve worker safety conditions, reduce environmental impact, and aid rural economic development. This page presents the case for biochemicals and provides users with the tools necessary to implement a shift to biochemicals.
