GLRPPR Sector Resource: Flyash Recycling

Flyash Recycling

This Michigan Department of Enviornmental Quality document includes two case studies of flyash recycling at paper mills. ABTco, Inc., produces flyash at its powerhouse. As an alternative to landfilling the flyash, the company partnered with a brick manufacturer looking for cheaper raw materials. Georgia-Pacific's Kalamazoo Business Unit also recycles its flyash into cement and cement products. (PDF format; Length: 2 pages)
