GLRPPR Sector Resource: Sustainable Value in Automobile Manufacturing:

Sustainable Value in Automobile Manufacturing:

Sustainable Value in Automobile Manufacturing looks at the environmental and social records of 16 automobile manufacturers around the world. By looking at emissions, waste produced, water use and other factors, the authors of the report assign each company's performance a monetary value. By charting each company's performance from 1999-2005, the study sees how some companies have gotten better or worse at fully utilizing environmental and social resources. The overarching goal is to provide a look at the recent history of the auto industry and see which companies are using their environmental resources most efficiently.
