Abstract:
Shattering all its previous records, the U.S. wind energy industry installed over 5,000 megawatts (MW) in 2007. The new installations expand the nation's total wind power generating capacity by 45% in a single year, bringing the U.S. total installed wind power capacity to over 16,800 MW.
