Abstract:
The EPA Nanotechnology Grantees Workshop, held August 28-29, 2002, brought together researchers from academia, industry, and government to discuss ongoing research on nanotechnology and the environment. The 58 Workshop participants listened to presentations by EPA grantees; the Director of the Center for Biological and Environmental Nanotechnology at Rice University; the Chair of the White House Subcommittee on Nanoscale Science, Engineering and Technology; the Director of the Woodrow Wilson Foresight and Governance Project; and EPA scientists.
