GLRPPR Sector Resource: Resource Directory for the Management of Pharmaceuticals in King County [Washington]

Resource Directory for the Management of Pharmaceuticals in King County [Washington]

This directory is a practical tool for facilities that need help managing their unused and unusable pharmaceuticals and hazardous wastes. It does not constitute a reference to laws and regulations. The Local Hazardous Waste Management Program (LHWMP) in King County and the Interagency Regulatory Analysis Committee (IRAC) combined efforts to prepare this directory for the health care industry in King County. Special thanks go to Alice Chapman and Debra Oliver. Contents include: pharmaceutical managment and hazardous waste regulation; best management practices as suggested by pharmaceutical returns companies; pharmaceutical management resource directory; reverse distributors and returns companies; sharps management; and hazardous waste management.
