ACS Award for Affordable Green Chemistry

Abstract:
The ACS Award for Affordable Green Chemistry, sponsored and supported by an endowment by Rohm and Haas Company, recognizes outstanding scientific discoveries that lay the foundation for environmentally friendly products or manufacturing processes that are cost competitive. The award also recognizes discovery of new eco-friendly chemistries with the potential to enable products or manufacturing processes that are less expensive than existing alternatives. The award is eligible to scientists regardless of geographic location or nationality.
