Pontiac Students Make Biodiesel

This article from the 5/16/07 edition of the Pantagraph describes how students at Pontiac Township High School, with guidance and equipment on loan from the Illinois Waste Management and Research Center (WMRC), have produced biodiesel from used cooking oil and tested the fuel in a John Deere tractor. The school is seeking funding to get its own processing equipment and is considering making biodiesel production from waste part of the school's curriculum. Article written by M.K. Guetersloh.
