This portion of the Denver Water Department's web page offers an in-depth look at xeriscaping, including the basic principles, xeriscape plans, before and after photos, a list of demonstration gardens and a list of books and videos on the subject. It should be noted that the term "xeriscape" was coined by the Denver Water Department in 1981.
