GLRPPR Sector Resource: Green Chemistry Resource Exchange (GreenChemEx)

Title:
Green Chemistry Resource Exchange (GreenChemEx)

Abstract:
The mission of GreenChemEx is to provide the public with a straightforward collection of media dealing with green chemistry and innovative technology as well as the means to share new ideas and research. The ACS Green Chemistry Institute (GCI) developed GreenChemEx as part of a cooperative agreement with the U.S. EPA Design for the Environment program. Entries are searchable by pre-set categories that cover a broad range of topics. Over 60 pre-set categories are organized under top-level topics, including industry sectors, chemicals and materials, and green chemistry keywords. Users can search by any combination of the pre-set categories as well as by user-defined text. In the text search, chemical names can also be searched. If you join GreenChemEx, you may submit entries to the database through the Contribute page; new entries can include resources such as websites, journal articles, books, news articles, audio or video clips, and presentations/lectures. All new entries will go through a review process before appearing online in the database. In addition, by joining the site, you can receive notifications when new entries in your fields of interest are added.
