This portion of the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) web site provides information on three different types of hydropower, information on hydropower plants of various sizes, information on various turbine technologies, and information on relevant environmental and legal issues. Also provides are hydropower news stories, links to hydropower organizations and resources, and a link to more basic hydropower information.
