This portion of the Environmental Law and Policy Center web site provides details on Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's Mercury Pollution Reduction Plan, which proposes standards to require coal fired power plants to reduce mercury pollution by 90% or more by June 30, 2009. This site also provides details on a coalition of public health and environmental leaders supporting the Governor's pollution reduction plan and links to additional information.
