Abstract:
This manual explains the hazards associated with lead exposure and provides tips on proper ventilation, housekeeping and maintenance, pollution prevention options, waste reduction and lead exposure reduction for indoor firing ranges. Also provides a case study on waste reduction for a firing range in Pinellas County, Florida. Though geared toward indoor firing ranges, some of the information provided may be useful for outdoor ranges or for the shooting enthusiast in general, particularly information on non-lead ammunition.
