GLRPPR Sector Resource: Wisconsin: Lead-Free/Lead-Safe Property Registry

Title:
Wisconsin: Lead-Free/Lead-Safe Property Registry

Abstract:
Generally, the Lead-Free/Lead-Safe Registry is a listing of houses, apartments, day cares, and other buildings that met lead-free or lead-safe property standards, established by rule. The lead-free standard is met when a property does not contain lead-based paint and/or when a property does not have lead-based paint hazards. The Lead-Free/Lead-Safe Registry is maintained by the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services (DHFS). This web site provides information for property owners on becoming part of the registry, and a link at the top of the page will allow residents to view a list of lead-free/lead-safe properties in Wisconsin by county (in PDF format, length 10 pages).
