GLRPPR Sector Resource: Mercury Pollutant Minimization Program Guidance, U.S. EPA Region 5

Title:
Mercury Pollutant Minimization Program Guidance, U.S. EPA Region 5

Abstract:
This guidance has been developed in conjunction with the Region 5 states, to address situations where a Pollutant Minimization Program (PMP) is required in a state-issued National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for a Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) as a condition for receiving a variance from the underlying water quality standard for mercury. Many of the specific recommendations are drawn from existing guidance and practices of the Region 5 states. (PDF Format; Length: 16 pages)
