Response to Internet Rumor on Plastics in Microwave

This portion of the SC Johnson web site disputes a rumor that circulated on the Internet stating that using plastics in household microwaves is dangerous due to the combination of fat, high heat and plastics which releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body, thereby increasing the risk of producing cancerous cells. The SC Johnson products discussed on this page do not contain dioxin.
