Abstract:
This part of the Minnesota Office of Environmental Assistance web site provides information on the damage lead fishing sinkers can have on birds and other wildlife. Information on alternative sinkers and vendors/manufacturers is provided, as well as information on regulations in various states banning or restricting the use of lead sinkers. Dates for lead tackle exchange events in Minnesota are provided, and a list of resources and links for further information.
